There is a file size limit on the original file you upload but we can't confirm the specific limit. We tested a 32 MB TIFF file by converting it to JPEG without a problem, but a 45 MB file didn't work because it was too large.
One thing we like about CoolUtils is that it lets you rotate and resize an image before you convert it.
Since this method works through a web browser, you can use it with nearly any operating system, like Windows, Linux, and Mac.
Really easy to use.
Works from any web browser in any operating system.
Converts images as large as 150 MB (if you log in).

Just like any online file converter, you have to, unfortunately, wait for FileZigZag to upload the file and then wait again for the download link (which could take a really long time as you wait in the queue). However, since most images are fairly small in size, it really shouldn't take that long altogether.
FileZigZag converts between other file formats, too. See every file format that FileZigZag supports to see if you can use it with your other files.
Supports bulk conversions.
Works online, so you don't need to install anything.

A file can be uploaded from your computer or from another website via its URL.
Input Formats: 3FR, AI, ARW, BMP, CR2, CRW, CDR, DCR, DNG, DWG, DXF, EMF, ERF, GIF, JPG, MDI, MEF, MRW, NEF, ODG, ORF, PCX, PEF, PNG, PPM, PSD, RAF, RAW, SR2, SVG, TGA, TIFF, WBMP, WMF, X3F, and XCF
Output Formats: AI, BMP, EPS, GIF, ICO, JPG, PDF, PS, PCX, PNG, TGA, TIFF, and WBMP
We've repeatedly tested Zamzar and have found the conversion time is often similar to FileZigZag's, but since you can't download multiple files at once or upload more than just a few, you might try an actual software program if you need something more robust.
You can use Zamzar to convert not just images but also documents, audio, video, eBooks, and more. See all the formats supported by Zamzar.

Image Format Converter Free Download Windows 10
When we see a program called Free Image Converter, we expect that its primary purpose is going to be to convert images between different file formats. That's not the case with this program, however; it should perhaps more accurately be called Free Image Resizer, because that--and not file conversion--is what it actually does. Still, as long as you're looking to resize images and not actually change their formats, it works fine.
Format Factory Image Converter Free Download
The program's interface is plain and fairly easy to navigate. Buttons let you add either individual images or whole folders of them that you want to resize. You can then specify the desired size in pixels and set the compression quality. The program has several options for renaming files; you can add numbers, prefixes, or suffixes to differentiate the resized files from the originals. You can also specify the directory in which the resized images will be saved. That's about the extent of Free Image Converter's features; if you're looking to do much beyond resize or rename images, this probably isn't the program for you. An online Help file is not particularly helpful, but given the program's paucity of features, this isn't a huge drawback. Overall, Free Image Converter doesn't do anything we haven't seen before, and we've encountered many other image converters with more features. But if you need a no-frills way to resize images, it will do the job.
Free Image Converter installs a desktop icon without asking but uninstalls cleanly.
